Join Us

The Coleman lab is a great place to work but unfortunately we have no current vacancies. However, we are always interested to discuss possible funding options with highly motivated early career scientists who can bring important new skills to the group and enhance our highly collaborative and supportive work style.

Our group is a good fit for people who are self-driven and good team players with a collaborative and communicative approach to research. Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, mouse or human genetics is particularly welcome.

If you are interested in working with our lab, please contact Professor Coleman with a summary of your experience and interests and how these align with our group. Funding is limited so applications for fellowship schemes are encouraged.

Graduate students join our laboratory via the Departmental recruitment programme. Please contact us first to discuss and apply through the Postgraduate Training site. Deadlines are usually in December with interviews in January.

If you would like to know more about life in the Coleman lab follow us on Twitter and see our News site.

Welcome

The Coleman Laboratory does world-leading research into mechanisms of axon and synapse loss, looking for ways to alleviate axonal diseases. Our priorities are high quality science, valuing and training people, and disseminating knowledge to scientists and the public.
