7th International Molecular & Cellular Mechanisms of Axon Degeneration Workshop

Axon Degeneration Meeting - Loch Lomond

Eleven members of the Coleman group attended the 7th International Workshop on Molecular and Cellular Mechanisms of Axon Degeneration held at Loch Lomond, Scotland on 11-14th March. This meeting, co-organised by Michael along with Julia Edgar (University of Glasgow), is the most recent in a series of meetings which was initially implemented by Michael in 2006. Meetings are held every two years alternating between North America and Europe, and are regularly attended by members of our group. Leading experts in the field from around the world share their research through this platform. These meetings also provide an important opportunity for scientists to network with one another and design new collaborations.

Welcome

The Coleman Laboratory does world-leading research into mechanisms of axon and synapse loss, looking for ways to alleviate axonal diseases. Our priorities are high quality science, valuing and training people, and disseminating knowledge to scientists and the public.
