Congratulations to Olivia and Claire on their recent publication
Coleman lab members Olivia Sheppard and Claire Durrant have been studying how inflammation disrupts synapses in brain tissue and what can be done to prevent this. Their work has just been published in the Journal of Neuroinflammation. Inflammation resulting from infection, injury or stress often worsens neurodegenerative disease and their work identifies cells and molecules within the brain that mediate this effect.
