Congratulations to Andrea Loreto, who has been awarded a Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellowship. Andrea will start his Sir Henry Wellcome Postdoctoral Fellowship on the 1st of November 2018. In this four-year project he will study the role of the Wallerian axon death pathway in Parkinson’s disease. Collaborations with Richard Wade-Martins (Oxford) and Oliver Bandmann (Sheffield) will establish new capabilities using iPS-derived neurons and zebrafish methodologies.
